Located in central Paihia on the hill above the main village, your friendly hosts Philip and Wendy Hopkinson have spent the past 11 years involved in the hospitality and tourism sector, and offer a very high standard of accommodation in their new home. They are also keen to share their extensive knowledge of the Northland region and New Zealand with visitors to their home. Fabulous B&B
A warm welcome at this lovely B&B. Wendy & Phil are very good hosts. The location is lovely, the rooms spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent and leisurely. We would recommend this to anyone who wants quality, privacy and individual attention.

First time visit to NZ from Australia, my wife and I stayed with Phil and Wendy at Decks of Paihia for two days in March 2010. They are friendly people with a good sense of humour. Accommodation is very clean and of a very high standard with the hosts providing good advice on the local area, attractions and restaurants. Continental breakfast included with the room was great with interesting mix of cereals, fruits, breads and other cold assortments. All in all a convenient place to stay, close to the main frontage but still very quiet and peaceful. A very central location to explore the Bay of Islands and Northland. Highly recommended.
