Situated at the entrance to Paihia in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Tropical gardens frame the building and give a sense of peace and tranquillity. The area is a popular year-round destination for both tourists and conferences. Our 38 chalet style units have exposed timber beam ceilings, giving an ambience of the European theme throughout. Many of our hotel units have their own private balcony, while others open out onto our grassed courtyard or garden areas. In addition to our chalet style rooms we have extended our sprawling 4½ acre property to include 56 new deluxe rooms. They are spacious, beautifully decorated and offer lots of natural light. Each room consists of two queen sized beds, ensuite bathroom, colour TV, direct dial phone, wireless internet access, tea and coffee facilities, small bar fridge, luggage rack and writing desk. There are 3 modern rooms fully equipped for our disabled guests' comfort. These rooms include ramp entrance and special bathroom facilities. My second time stayed at scenic hotel bay of islands , excellent facilities clean & tidy , got upgrade to deluxe king bed room on arrival for same price , friendly staffs highly recommended place to stay . Nice hotel, clean, full of light, open spaces. Comfortable, first scenic hotel that we stayed in and surely will come back. Good breakfast, ideal for families (or couples or friends....) . Nice clean hotel, good bathroom equipment , but direction signs are not clearly visible. We walked around the whole block trying to find our rooms. Parking is not well organized. It should be allocated to each room. . We were upgraded at no charge to a great room with views over a floodlit palm garden. The staff were very help full and friendly. .
there is a great restaurant with a good menu,
